The calibration facility comprises a suite of custom built laboratories with individual temperature controls and is UKAS approved to ISO/IEC 17025:2017. This accreditation demonstrates technical competence for a detailed scope as detailed in our Schedule of Accreditation.

Decision Rule: Unless otherwise requested YPG shall issue a Conformity Statement which will be based on a binary Decision Rule (“simple acceptance” of pass/fail) where the acceptance zone is the same size as the tolerance stated in the relevant standard being used as the basis of test, and a calibration uncertainty which is not greater than the tolerance. The reported expanded uncertainty is based on a standard uncertainty multiplied by a coverage factor k = 2, providing a level of confidence of approximately 95%. The uncertainty evaluation has been carried out in accordance with UKAS requirements.
